Historic Philadelphia:
Only 12 miles from ACE Conference Center to Center City Philadelphia and the “Cradle of Liberty”. Only ten miles from ACE Conference Center is Valley Forge, where General George Washington and his army camped during the winter of 1777. Acres of battlefields, log buildings and cannon attract history buffs. Hiking, biking and skating are also popular pastimes on the Park’s miles of trails.

 
Shopping:
An abundance of interesting places to shop surrounds ACE Conference Center. Within five minutes are two special areas of Old Philadelphia – Chestnut Hill and Manayunk. Each area features a wealth of specialty shops, galleries, and eateries. The King of Prussia Mall is a twenty minute drive, but worth it (www.Kingofprussiamall.com). Featuring nine world-famous department stores (like Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, Neiman Marcus and Sears), thirty-five eateries and 370 fine shops, it is the largest shopping mall east of the Mississippi. Many other shopping opportunities exist in Center City and outlying suburbs, including the Plymouth Meeting Mall and Franklin Mills Outlet Mall, Peddler’s Village and the Philadelphia premium outlets.
 
Lincoln Financial Field, Wachovia Center, Wachovia Spectrum, Citizens Bank Park:
Located in South Philadelphia, these facilities provide the venues for the area’s professional sports teams: the baseball Phillies, football Eagles, basketball 76ers, and ice hockey Flyers. These arenas are also utilized for myriad other sporting and entertainment events. About 30 minutes from ACE Conference Center.

Philadelphia’s newest attraction along the Delaware River, Penn’s Landing is the site of dozens of special events throughout the year. Welcome America 4th of July extravaganza, Jazz festivals, Ethnic and Cultural festivals, etc. In addition, it boasts a number of great riverside restaurants, clubs and floating historical venues.
 
Adventure Aquarium, The Tweeter Center , Battleship New Jersey:

The fun continues directly across the Delaware River in New Jersey. The New Jersey State Aquarium provided hours of “under the sea” adventures and also is a great place for a social function (reception, banquet, etc.) The Tweeter Center is the newest entertainment center in the area, providing indoor and outdoor seating for all types of top name musical entertainers.  All of these venues can be easily reached by ferry or the Ben Franklin Bridge across the Delaware River.
 
World-Renowned Restaurants:
Over the past decade, the City of Philadelphia has transformed itself and is now recognized as home to some of the world’s greatest restaurants. Every type of ethnic cuisine is available in all price ranges. Other Attractions:
If time permits during your stay at ACE Conference Center, you may wish to explore even more of what the area offers. Atlantic City and all of its excitement is only a two-hour drive – bus transportation can be arranged for groups. The Brandywine Valley in nearby Chester County and into Delaware, “the First State”, provides beautiful scenery, art galleries, wineries, and gardens (www.brandywinevalley.com).

If you’re interested in gardens, The Morris Arboretum is only a five minute drive, and Longwood Gardens , a world-famous horticultural center is only 30 minutes away. And, at 9,000 acres, the world’s largest municipal park, Fairmount Park , provides hundreds of trails, biking and skating paths along the Schuylkill River and tours of historic mansions located throughout the Park.
