General George Washington and his army camped

An abundance of interesting places to shop surrounds ACE Conference Center. Within five minutes are two special areas of Old Philadelphia – Chestnut Hill and Manayunk. Each area features a wealth of specialty shops, galleries, and eateries. The King of Prussia Mall is a twenty minute drive, but worth it (www.Kingofprussiamall.com). Featuring nine world-famous department stores (like Macy’s, Nordstrom’s, Neiman Marcus and Sears), thirty-five eateries and 370 fine shops, it is the largest shopping mall east of the Mississippi. Many other shopping opportunities exist in Center City and outlying suburbs, including the Plymouth Meeting Mall and Franklin Mills Outlet Mall, Peddler’s Village and the Philadelphia premium outlets. |

River in New Jersey. The New Jersey State

entertainers. All of these venues can be
easily reached by ferry or the Ben Franklin
Bridge across the Delaware River. |

more of what the area offers. Atlantic City and
all of its excitement is only a two-hour drive –
bus transportation can be arranged for groups.
The Brandywine Valley in nearby Chester County
and into Delaware, “the First State”, provides
beautiful scenery, art galleries, wineries, and

If you’re interested in gardens, The Morris
Arboretum is only a five minute drive, and
Longwood Gardens , a world-famous horticultural
center is only 30 minutes away. And, at 9,000
acres, the world’s largest municipal park,
Fairmount Park , provides hundreds of trails,
biking and skating paths along the Schuylkill
River and tours of historic mansions located
